What sort of commitment is involved?
For a major show, we rehearse for 13 weeks, usually every
Sunday evening in Barton on Humber. Rehearsals are time-
tabled, so you probably wouldn't need to attend all evening,
every week - however it is vitally important to attend when
required, otherwise you will be letting down the whole
team. In addition to this, there is a final Technical
Rehearsal, the evening before the show, where everyone is
required, all evening. We also ask you to attend fitting
sessions at participating stores, usually in the two weeks
before the show. Any help selling raffle tickets, or getting
raffle prizes is appreciated. We don't pay any expenses (eg
petrol etc), or provide any transport, as all the work is done
on a voluntary basis.

My child or teenager wants to model for you, but I'm a bit worried -
I've never heard of you. Can you reassure me?
All models under 18 years old must have signed parental consent before participating. An adult must attend rehearsals with anyone aged under 16 (in fact sometimes parents model too!). All members of the Catwalkers Committee who are directly involved with the models have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). Our Child Protection Policy has been drawn up in line with our Local Authority's guidelines. We can put you in touch with others whose kids have modelled for us, for reassurance. Please contact us on 0845 003 5034 if you have any more concerns.

If I contact you, what do you do with my details?
We only record your name, age, county of residence and email address - We don't ask for your postal address or telephone number. All information is held under the terms of the Data Protection Act. We will only contact you to advise you of auditions, and we certainly don't pass your details on to third parties. We definitely don't spam!
